If our bodies are protected by clothes, our faces are always exposed, so we are exposed to negative environmental factors.
In addition, after a certain age, the skin quickly loses moisture, subcutaneous fat begins to disappear. This is one of the main reasons for the appearance of the first wrinkles.
To keep skin young and fresh, regular maintenance is needed to remove dead skin cells, nourish it, and improve blood circulation.
Find effective ways to rejuvenate your skin and read helpful tips to keep your skin beautiful and youthful.
Regular washing for skin rejuvenation
One of the simplest facial skin care products is good quality water. Water cleans the dead cells of the stratum corneum, cleansing the skin of dust, dirt, sweat and oil.
With the right approach, daily washing becomes not only a hygienic procedure, but also a healing one. To maintain youthful skin, train yourself to wash your face by mixing in water. Rinse your face several times with warm and then cold water. Warm water makes the pores wider, while cold water constricts them. However, it is not recommended to wash your face with water that is too cold or too hot. When exposed to low temperatures, the skin becomes dry and begins to peel. Hot water causes persistent vasodilation, and the skin becomes too sensitive to cold.
If you have dry skin, wash your face with soft, room temperature water. It is recommended to use a facial cleanser no more than once a week. The exceptions are special foams and gels with a therapeutic effect, specially designed for dry skin.
For oily skin, you can use any cleanser 2 times a week: morning and evening. After washing, apply a nourishing cream to the skin, and after 20-30 minutes, wipe off the residue with a paper towel.
For normal skin, alternating washing with warm and cold clean water is sufficient. But even normal skin needs care. Washing with water with medicinal herbs is very beneficial. Once a week, wash your face with the ingredients or clean with a cotton swab dipped in warm water.
Simple traditional medicine
For dry skin, washing and compressing the decoction of chamomile, violet, rose petals, mint, lavender, ginseng root, parsley and dill will be beneficial. Pour 200 g of boiling water over a tablespoon of these ingredients. The resulting broth must be left to stand for 20 minutes, strain, cool.
For oily skin, the concoction of chamomile, St. John's wort, horsetail, yarrow, plantain, cornflower, nettle, coltsfoot, eucalyptus leaves are suitable.
For normal skin, you can use almost any decoction based on medicinal herbs, as each component perfectly nourishes the skin, giving it a healthy look.
Rejuvenating face mask
Facial masks show excellent rejuvenating results. To make a homemade mask, you will need white clay and serum. Dilute the components into a thick sour cream, apply on the skin for 15 minutes, then rinse with water. If you have dry skin - after this procedure, wet your face with a moisturizing lotion.
For oily skin, you can prepare a cucumber, lemon and oatmeal mask. Cut 1 cucumber, add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 100 grams of oatmeal. Dilute the mixture with chamomile broth, whey or boiled water. Apply to previously cleaned skin for 20 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water.
Massage to improve skin structure
You can rejuvenate your face with a special massage. This ensures normalization of blood circulation, removes keratin skin particles.
Massage improves skin elasticity, improves color and texture.
Twice a week after cleansing the skin, lightly rub your face with your fingertips for 2-3 minutes. It is better to start from the forehead, in the direction from the eyebrows to the temples.
After that, knead the upper cheeks from the nose to the temples. Then rub your cheeks with your palms from your lips to your ears and massage your chin with the back of your hand.
The final stage of the massage is light tapping with your fingertips all over the face.
The massage procedure improves blood circulation and stimulates its own collagen production, helping skin cells receive beneficial substances.
Peel for effective cleaning
Exfoliation can be done once a week. To do this, you do not need to visit a salon, because you can do this procedure at home. Facial cleansing is done with a scrub. You can cook it yourself. The most popular cleaning agents are coffee and sea salt.
Add a pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, one teaspoon of sugar, 2-3 drops of lavender oil to the coffee grounds. Stir the mixture well, apply to face, rinse after 10 minutes with warm water. For normal to dry skin, mix 1 tablespoon of sea salt with egg yolk and sour cream. Massage into face, rinse after 10-15 minutes. For oily skin, replace sour cream with other fermented milk products - serum, kefir, low-fat sour cream.
Do not forget that facial rejuvenation is not possible without changes in nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. In order for the skin to be young and well-groomed, bad habits must be stopped, as well as diversify the diet with vitamins and minerals. The diet should include foods that contain carotene, vitamin A and fiber.
